Hi, I am a 4th-year PhD student in the School of Education at Johns Hopkins University. My research interests include meta-analysis, learner autonomy, and program evaluation. I am currently working with Dr. Marcia Davis and Dr. Amanda Neitzel. I will be on the academic job market in 2025-2026.

Previously: I received my MA in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from The University of Hong Kong. I was a research assistant at The Education University of Hong Kong.

Aug, 2024 My first meta-analysis The effects of language learning strategy instruction on college students’ English achievement and learner autonomy in mainland China: A meta-analysis got accepted to the International Journal of Educational Research!
Aug, 2024 I published my first paper Lightning Squad: Assessing the Dosage Effect of Computer-Assisted Tutoring with Cooperative Learning for Struggling Readers as a PhD!
Jul, 2024 Our application on LLM-empowered data extraction for educational systematic reviews and meta-analyses got accepted to OpenAI’s Researcher Access Program!
Jun, 2024 I’ll be presenting MetaMate during SREE 2024 in Baltimore, MD on September 18-21.
May, 2024 I’m selected to attend the 2024 NAEP Data Training Workshop in Arlington, VA on June 26-28, 2024.
